Benefits of Cranberries – Good Health


Cranberries are a type of acidic berries that contain lots of Vitamin C and are powerful antioxidants which can help fight infections and have an anti-inflammatory effect. The best thing about cranberries, unlike most fruit and vegetables, is that cooking them does not lose it’s goodness.

It’s a common fact that cranberries are normally best for urinary tract infections but studies have continually shown that cranberries can help with ulcer and gum problems too and can be great for healthy looking skin.

In addition to the above goodness, regular intake of cranberries (like a daily glass of cranberry juice) can help in promoting a healthy heart, fights the neurological signs of aging by keeping the brain functioning well and can help with blood flow and circulation.

Cranberry juice is pretty tasty – I enjoy it and a glass a day can definitely keep the doctor away.
